Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hessu Hopo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Claymore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Hopo might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Gers Pardoel - Ik Neem Je Mee . Claymore has chosen Future World Music - Fight as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hessu Hopo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Andy Claymore!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Aafke Stam and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hopo on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hopo looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Claymore lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Claymore throws a right hand that Hopo ducks under and follows up with a left that Hopo also avoids with ease.
Claymore lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.


It looks like Hessu Hopo has been cut.
Hopo blocks a head kick by Claymore.
Claymore jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Claymore cracks Hopo with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Claymore does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
A jab from Claymore misses.
A slow jab from Claymore misses its intended target.
Andy Claymore seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Claymore jabs Hopo right on the nose. Hopo blinks but takes it well.
Claymore staying out of range there.

Claymore throws a series of punches but Hopo moves out of range.
Claymore misses with a body kick.
Claymore tries a head kick but it misses.
Hopo scores with a hook.
Hopo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Claymore circles away quickly and effectively.
Hopo lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

It looks like Andy Claymore has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Claymore looks to throw the jab but Hopo is out of range.
Hopo lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Claymore falls backwards - clearly groggy! Hopo dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hessu Hopo!
A relieved looking Hessu Hopo thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
