Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Luke Gardner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doctor Greenthumb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Luke Gardner had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 156.0lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Luke Gardner could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Doctor Greenthumb's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Aafke Stam and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Greenthumb misses.
Gardner ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Greenthumb moves away.
Gardner works the jab nicely.
A head kick misses from Gardner.
Greenthumb shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Gardner has momentary wrist control but Greenthumb slips an elbow through the middle.
Greenthumb wants to pass the guard but Gardner is keeping the position.
Gardner keeping moving, preventing Greenthumb from controlling successfully.
Greenthumb has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Greenthumb postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gardner tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Greenthumb postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Greenthumb passes Gardner's left leg - he's now in half guard.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Greenthumb lands a big elbow - Gardner is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Greenthumb!
