Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Takayuki Okubo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buck Norris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Norris has chosen Six Feet Under - Lycanthropy as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yukihiro Shimada and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Okubo misses with the combination.
Okubo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Okubo jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Okubo throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Okubo throws a series of punches but Norris moves out of range.
Norris walks into a jab.
Okubo closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Okubo changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Norris looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Norris moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Okubo stands up over Norris, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Norris is looking for a triangle but Okubo pushes his legs off easily.
Okubo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Norris working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Okubo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Okubo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!

Buck Norris dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Norris stalks Okubo and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Okubo's face. Okubo staggers backwards, shaken.
