Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peppi Moraes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Goran Krajnc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Moraes closes the distance and clinches.

Krajnc not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Goran Krajnc has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Krajnc is trying hard to land a takedown here. Moraes sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Krajnc drops back looking for a leg! Moraes is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Moraes manages to kick Krajnc off! Krajnc jumps back into Moraes's guard.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Moraes has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Krajnc is working away from the top position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Krajnc decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Krajnc wants to control but Moraes is keeping him busy.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Krajnc is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Moraes sees it coming and defends easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Goran Krajnc will probably get the nod.

Krajnc tries to score a power double leg takedown but Moraes sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Krajnc somewhat.

Moraes shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Moraes drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Krajnc manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Moraes has Krajnc in his guard.
Krajnc is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Moraes controls Krajnc momentarily but Krajnc frees himself.

Krajnc decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Moraes swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Krajnc.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Moraes breaks the clinch.

Moraes fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Krajnc sprawls well initially but Moraes persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

The fighters are battling for position here. Krajnc manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Moraes wants to stand and escape but instead Krajnc has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Krajnc maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Moraes could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Krajnc has cracked it and Moraes is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Krajnc!
