The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Emerson Jorge and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ribeiro misses with a takedown attempt - Grace sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Ribeiro looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Grace throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Grace is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ribeiro is just riding it out for now. Grace eventually gives up the hold.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Grace is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Ribeiro can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Ribeiro has left one of his arms exposed and Grace doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Ribeiro screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
