Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Roman Colt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and CJ Richards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Colt kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Just What I Am. Richards has chosen Three Six Mafia - It's a fight as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richards darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
It looks like Roman Colt has been cut.
Richards misses with a head kick.
A cross from Richards lands.
Colt shoots for a takedown but Richards saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Nice shot lands for Richards.
Richards gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Colt to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Colt looking to sit in guard and control but Richards gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Richards postures up.

Colt pulls Richards in close to his closed guard and prevents Richards from doing any damage or advancing position.

Still in half guard, Richards seems content to control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Colt fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Colt tries to score a power double leg takedown but Richards sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Colt somewhat.

Richards lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Colt at a distance.
Richards thuds his right hand into Colt's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Richards throws a chopping leg kick but Colt manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
CJ Richards seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Colt scores with a jab. Richards acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
A nice leg kick lands there from Richards.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Colt misses the shot to the body.
Colt takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Colt takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Richards cracks Colt with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Richards has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Colt to stand back up!

Richards throws an overhand right that has Colt reeling! Richards follows up with more punches and Colt is out cold! This one is all over!

After winning the bout, CJ Richards thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
