Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vincent Clayton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamie Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Walker has chosen Quicksand - As Chaos Unfolds as his entrance music. Jamie Walker is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Vincent Clayton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jamie Walker!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walker fails in his attempt to clinch.
Clayton throws a push kick but Walker slaps the foot to one side.
Clayton lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.


It looks like Jamie Walker has been cut.
Walker tries to clinch but Clayton is having none of it.
Clayton fails to land with a series of punches.
Walker avoids a punch combination nicely.
Walker tries to close the distance and clinch up but Clayton swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Walker is looking to clinch but Clayton is avoiding it.
Clayton misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Clayton fails to land with a series of punches.
Clayton misses with an uppercut.
Walker fails with an attempt to clinch.
Clayton rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Walker moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Walker scores with a nice body kick.
Walker doesn't manage to clinch there - Clayton circles away.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Clayton has managed to clinch.
Walker is trying to force a seperation but Clayton has the dominant position.
Clayton managing to block the knees to the body from Walker.

Clayton pulls guard successfully.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Walker throwing strikes but missing.
Walker has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Walker won't allow Clayton to sweep him here.
Walker advances to half guard.
Walker missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
Clayton is not content to let Walker control the position.
Clayton is trying to maintain the position but Walker is very close to passing his half guard.
Walker wants to lay and pray for a moment but Clayton keeps working.
Walker not landing any meaningful shots this time.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Walker is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Clayton!
Walker throws some wild stikes that Clayton manages to avoid easily.
Clayton bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Walker controls Clayton momentarily but Clayton frees himself.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Clayton clinches.
Walker trying to land knees to the body.
Clayton is trying to pull guard but Walker has him pressed against the cage.

Clayton jumps guard and drags Walker to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Walker trying to control the position from guard on top but Clayton is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Clayton being controlled here, momentarily.
Clayton preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Clayton working a defensive guard here.
Walker trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Clayton wants to stand but Walker is controlling the position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Clayton misses with a jab, cross combination.
Walker slips a jab and a cross from Clayton.
Walker tries to clinch there but Clayton circles away.
Clayton just misses with a punch to the body.
Walker tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Clayton manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Nice uppercut lands for Clayton. That snapped Walker's head back.
Walker tries to close the distance and clinch up but Clayton swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Clayton fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Walker fails in his attempt to clinch.
Clayton throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Walker clinches with his opponent.

Clayton pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Walker tries to clinch but Clayton moves out of range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Clayton throws a right and a left that both miss.
Walker tries to clinch but Clayton is having none of it.
Walker checks the leg kick nicely there.

Clayton closes the distance and clinches.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Vincent Clayton will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Jamie Walker's cut.
That's time! Clayton's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Walker closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Clayton blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Clayton working hard to break the clinch.
Walker tries a knee to the head but Clayton blocks it.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Walker obliges.
Clayton lands a body shot.
Walker misses with a knee strike.
Clayton tries to land knees in the clinch but Walker avoids the damage to the body.
Clayton tries to score a body lock takedown but Walker shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Walker looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Clayton blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Walker breaks from the clinch.
Clayton slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Clayton takes a swing at Walker's ribcage but misses.
Clayton misses with the combination.
Clayton misses with a body kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Clayton with a nice cross.

Walker gets a clinch.

Walker escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Nice defenses there by Walker.
Clayton clobbers Walker with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.


Walker is rocked!
Clayton finds Walker's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Walker flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Clayton lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Walker will be OK.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Vincent Clayton!
