1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dante Williams! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Richard Clark and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams works Diaz's body with a nice hook. Diaz takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Diaz tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Dante Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Diaz clinches up against the cage. Diaz tries to pull guard but Williams forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Williams is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Williams persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Williams is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Williams really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Diaz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Diaz looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Williams passes into side control.

Diaz is looking for a sweep. Williams taking a breather here. This has been an exciting period of action! Williams wants to stand but Diaz has his arm trapped. Diaz tries to bench press Williams off him but Williams keeps the position.

Williams lands a few punches from side control. Diaz is trying to get back to half guard. Williams takes a little break here. Diaz wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Williams might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Diaz haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Diaz is looking to clinch but Williams is avoiding it.
Both of our modern day gladiators look out of it here - an gruelling 5 rounds of action taking it's toll on them, no doubt. Williams dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Diaz. That did some damage!

Williams lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Williams clobbers Diaz with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Nick Diaz has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Williams lands a high kick!
And that's the end of the fight! Dante Williams comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Williams has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
