Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Max Kaz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Kaj Stephanson! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Chris Edwards and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight moves into the clinch position. Kaz breaks the clinch.
Stephanson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kaz swivels and escapes. Kaz gets in close and instigates a clinch. Kaz stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Kaz connects with a nasty looking knee right to Stephanson's face.
Kaz scores with a knee to the head.
Stephanson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Kaz manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Kaz tries a knee to the head but Stephanson blocks it.

Kaz lands a damaging elbow. Kaz comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Stephanson drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Stephanson takes an elbow to the forehead. Kaz lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
That's one minute gone in the round. Stephanson takes a knee right on the jaw!
Stephanson is trying to maintain a safe position but Kaz gets an underhook and turns Stephanson into the cage. Kaz lands an elbow that stopped Stephanson in his tracks for a moment. Kaz has Stephanson pressed against the cage.
Stephanson wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Kaz lands a good knee to the midsection. Stephanson won't want to take too many of those. Stephanson is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Kaz pulls him back up using the underhooks. Max Kaz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kaj Stephanson. Stephanson jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Kaz walks away with a smile on his face. Stephanson gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Stephanson drops his hands momentarily and Kaz needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Stephanson just on the top of the head. Stephanson drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Stephanson - he's done!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Max Kaz! After winning the bout, Max Kaz thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
