Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kato Munechika (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Avenger Of Steel Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Munechika kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Requiem for a Dream. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Munechika fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Steel Penn avoids it really well and circles away.
Steel Penn throws a right hand that Munechika ducks under and follows up with a left that Munechika also avoids with ease.
Steel Penn looks to score with a jab to the body but Munechika is just out of range.
Munechika throws a jab but it's blocked by Steel Penn.

It looks like Kato Munechika has been cut.

A bone on bone clash there as Steel Penn blocks the leg kick.
Steel Penn scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

Kato Munechika seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Steel Penn sends Munechika crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Steel Penn is motioning to the referee to let Munechika up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Steel Penn stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Steel Penn wants it to stay on the feet.

Steel Penn cracks Munechika with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Munechika tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Steel Penn pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Munechika is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Avenger Of Steel Penn decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
