Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tom Cirus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kay Ector (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cirus's entrance music is Lonely Boy - The Black Keys. A fine choice. Ector comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Game of Thrones kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kay Ector! The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Jeff Smith and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cirus throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Ector tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Cirus is in Ector's guard. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Cirus throws a big right hand that misses. Ector avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Cirus postures up and lands a big shot to Ector's brow. Cirus lands a couple of decent looking shots. Cirus postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Cirus trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Cirus postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Ector is looking for a triangle but Cirus pushes his legs off easily.
Ector is trying to control the position but Cirus postures up. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Cirus postures up in Ector's guard and throws a big left but Ector blocks it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cirus landing some decent shots from guard. Cirus is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Cirus's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Ector utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cirus stands up over Ector, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Ector looking to hit a scissor sweep but Cirus is one step ahead there. Cirus missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Cirus has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Ector not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Cirus cracks Ector with a solid left hand. Cirus working some strikes from top position. Cirus throws a big elbow that misses. Cirus landing some decent shots from guard. Ector preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Ector is trying to keep Cirus in close.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Cirus working some strikes from top position. Cirus connects with a couple of short punches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cirus scoring with punches to the head and body. Cirus postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Ector has momentary wrist control but Cirus slips an elbow through the middle.
Ector is rocked! Cirus works over Ector with some ground and pound from guard. Ector is still in real trouble! Can Cirus finish him? Cirus postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Ector covers up, he's hurt! Cirus keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Cirus and the ref steps in to end the fight! Cirus can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tom Cirus! Our winner, Tom Cirus, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
