Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sultan Alkhanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Sacks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sultan Alkhanov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Harry Sacks! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alkhanov shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Sacks defends it nicely. Horrible takedown by Alkhanov or perhaps it was just good defense by Sacks which made him look bad. Alkhanov fails with the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sultan Alkhanov. That's going to take a lot out of him. Alkhanov rushes Sacks and presses him up against the cage. Alkhanov has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Sacks is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Sacks wants a takedown.
Alkhanov fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Alkhanov has Sacks pushed against the cage. Alkhanov has Sacks pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Alkhanov pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Sacks tumbling to the mat - Alkhanov dives into Sacks's guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Sacks not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Alkhanov pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Sacks is keeping the position for now. Sacks controlling Alkhanov's posture. Alkhanov trying to control the position from guard on top but Sacks is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Alkhanov being controlled here momentarily.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Harry Sacks hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Alkhanov fails with the takedown and Sacks counters by moving into the clinch. Sacks pulls guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Alkhanov is fighting to break Sacks's control of his arms but Sacks is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Sacks looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Alkhanov slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Alkhanov trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Sacks manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sacks is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Sacks trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sacks slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Sacks preventing the sweep. Alkhanov keeping moving, preventing Sacks from controlling successfully. Sacks really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Alkhanov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Alkhanov trying to control the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Harry Sacks. Alkhanov moves to clinch but Sacks breaks away and Sacks counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Sacks. Alkhanov tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sacks tries to score a body lock takedown but Alkhanov shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Sacks drops down looking for an ankle pick but Alkhanov pulls his leg out and moves away.

Alkhanov tries for a takedown but Sacks sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Alkhanov is looking to clinch. Sacks throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Alkhanov is breathing heavily. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sacks is defended easily by Alkhanov. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Alkhanov throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sacks's waist but Sacks gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Alkhanov off to one side. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Harry Sacks will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sacks is defended easily by Alkhanov. Sacks looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. The fight stays on the outside here - Alkhanov looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Sacks moves in looking to clinch but Alkhanov pushes him off. Alkhanov is trying hard to land a takedown here. Sacks sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. A head kick misses from Alkhanov. Alkhanov closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Sacks lands a nice elbow. Alkhanov is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Sacks pulls him back up using the underhooks. Sacks looking for a takedown.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sacks can't get the takedown.
Sultan Alkhanov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Harry Sacks. Sacks fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Sacks has Alkhanov pressed against the cage, preventing Alkhanov from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Alkhanov wants to break the clinch but can't.
Sacks turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Sacks manages to end up in side control. Alkhanov manages to work his way to half guard, despite Sacks's best efforts. Sacks is pressing down on Alkhanov's thigh, looking to free his foot. Alkhanov is holding on for now. Sacks is breathing heavily. Sacks wants to control but Alkhanov is keeping him busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Alkhanov is concentrating on defense, preventing Sacks from advancing position. Sacks missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Sacks seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Alkhanov does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Sacks sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Alkhanov defending well though. Alkhanov is staying active underneath Sacks, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Harry Sacks has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Alkhanov closes this distance looking for a takedown but Sacks circles away. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sacks bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Sacks trying to control the action but Alkhanov is working from the bottom. Sacks is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Alkhanov's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Sacks decides to stand back up. Sacks steps back and let's Alkhanov get back to his feet. An inside leg kick lands from Sacks. Sacks misses with a takedown attempt and Alkhanov counters with a right hand to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sacks defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Alkhanov. Sacks tries to score a power double leg takedown but Alkhanov sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sacks somewhat. No luck with that takedown attempt from Sacks. Sacks clinches. Sacks stalling against the cage.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Alkhanov lands with a light punch inside. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Harry Sacks showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Alkhanov throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Sacks moves in looking to clinch but Alkhanov pushes him off. Alkhanov is looking to clinch but Sacks is avoiding it.
Sacks closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Sacks breaks the clinch.
Alkhanov looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sacks is fending him off so far but Alkhanov persists. Nope, Sacks circles away and we're back to standing. Sacks thows a body shot but no joy. Sacks clinches with his opponent.
Sacks goes for a takedown in the clinch but Alkhanov prevents it.
Alkhanov has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Sacks is trying to keep an underhook but Alkhanov manages to get the takedown into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sacks is not content to let Alkhanov control the position. Sacks wants to control but Alkhanov is keeping busy and won't allow it. Sacks blocking the ground and pound attempt from Alkhanov. Alkhanov is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Sacks is just riding it out for now. Alkhanov eventually gives up the hold. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Alkhanov looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Sacks with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sacks looks like he's trying to stand up.
Sacks desperately trying to maintain half guard. Sacks wants to improve his position but Alkhanov is controlling well.
Alkhanov controlling the action here. Sacks is looking to control Alkhanov's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Sacks avoid being mounted?
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sacks trying to get back to full guard but Alkhanov takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount! Alkhanov prevents Sacks from getting the reversal. Alkhanov controlling from the full mount. Sacks keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Alkhanov content just to control the position here.

Alkhanov lands with some strikes. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Alkhanov tries to control but Sacks wriggling away. Alkhanov controlling his opponent. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sacks is looking to get to half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Sultan Alkhanov showed his dominance in that final round. Well Sacks has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
