The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dela Cruz stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Dela Cruz wants it to stay on the feet.
Dela Cruz keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Gordo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dela Cruz is fending him off so far but Gordo persists. Nope, Dela Cruz circles away and we're back to standing.
Shane Dela Cruz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eddy Gordo.
Dela Cruz throws a right and a left that Gordo avoids nicely.
Gordo fails in his attempt to clinch.
Gordo lands with a slapping head kick.
Dela Cruz scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Gordo throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Dela Cruz moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Dela Cruz throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Dela Cruz scores with a sloppy right hand. Gordo should have avoided that one.
Gordo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Dela Cruz tries to avoid it but Gordo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Dela Cruz to the ground. Dela Cruz escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Gordo moves in looking to clinch but Dela Cruz pushes him off.
Gordo doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Dela Cruz keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Gordo looks winded!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gordo drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Gordo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
The fighters circle momentarily. Dela Cruz darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Gordo on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Gordo is rocked!
Dela Cruz grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Gordo takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Dela Cruz cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
