Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Betts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slasher Bone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bone has chosen we are electric as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aaron Betts!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Slasher Bone!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good leg kick by Betts there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Betts keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Bone drives through and clinches with Betts against the cage.

Bone on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Betts pulls guard.
Betts striking off his back but it's not causing Bone any problems.

Betts looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Bone trying to control the position from guard on top but Betts is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Betts is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Bone is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Betts is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Aaron Betts just wasn't active enough.
A head kick misses from Bone.
Bone is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Betts swats away the attempt to clinch by Bone.
Bone shoots in for a double leg but Betts sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Betts avoids a punch combination nicely.
Bone slaps away a takedown attempt from Betts, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Betts tries for a takedown but Bone sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Bone stuffs the takedown attempt from Betts. Betts gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aaron Betts. That's going to take a lot out of him.

No joy there for Bone, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Betts shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bone but Bone pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Betts shoots for a double leg takedown but Bone sprawls well. He's pushed Betts's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bone can do anything to dispel that myth.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bone bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Slasher Bone showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

I would just about give that final round to Slasher Bone.
I think Bone has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
