Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gegard Mooose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kurt Perrier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gegard Mooose!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kurt Perrier!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Franklyn Lucas and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mooose looks to land a combination but Perrier avoids it well.
A shot to the liver by Perrier. Beautiful body shot.
Perrier cracks Mooose with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
It looks like Gegard Mooose has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Mooose throws a right and a left that Perrier avoids nicely.
Perrier feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Moooses jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Gegard Mooose seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Perrier digs a good hook to Mooose's body.
Mooose throws a right hand that Perrier ducks under and follows up with a left that Perrier also avoids with ease.
Perrier lands a nice hook to Mooose's body. Mooose takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Mooose is breathing heavily.
Perrier lands with a cross.
Perrier lands with a nice body punch.
Perrier swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Perrier cracks Mooose with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Mooose wants to clinch but Perrier slips to the side
and Perrier counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Mooose off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Perrier follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Mooose was out before he hit the floor.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Kurt Perrier!
Our winner, Kurt Perrier, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
