Smierdzielski is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by 2 Chainz - Riot. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Butter Bean! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, David Smierdzielski! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Columbo Gatti and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smierdzielski drives through with a takedown into Bean's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Bean is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Smierdzielski trying to control the position from guard on top but Bean is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Smierdzielski postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Bean on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Bean tries to get out of the position. Smierdzielski with a flurry of punches that miss. Smierdzielski scoring with punches to the head and body. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Smierdzielski lands a couple of digs. Bean is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Smierdzielski is controlling him. Smierdzielski postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Bean might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Smierdzielski won't allow Bean to get back to his feet. Bean pushes Smierdzielski off and scrambles back to his feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Nice sprawl there from Bean as Smierdzielski shoots in. Smierdzielski tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Good standup being displayed there by Bean as he connects with a hook. Bean rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Smierdzielski moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Bean just misses with a punch to the body.
Bean misses with a wild body shot. Smierdzielski pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Bean back to the cage. Smierdzielski follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bean dives in and scores a takedown into Smierdzielski's guard. Bean is breathing heavily. Smierdzielski looking for a guillotine here but Bean defends easily.
Bean is looking to stand up but Smierdzielski won't let him. Bean has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Bean postures up.
Smierdzielski lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Bean! Smierdzielski connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bean trying desperately to get to his feet.
Smierdzielski controlling the pace for now. Bean is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Smierdzielski is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Bean can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Bean is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Bean takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Smierdzielski has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Bean is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Smierdzielski locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Bean is forced to tap!
