PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luke Kilpatrick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dean Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kilpatrick kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Parkway Drive - Dark Days. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 31 - 19 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dean Martin !
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kilpatrick takes a swing at Martin 's ribcage but misses.
Horrible takedown by Martin or perhaps it was just good defense by Kilpatrick which made him look bad.
Martin slips under a jab from Kilpatrick.
An inside leg kick from Kilpatrick misses.
Martin jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Martin drives through with a takedown into guard.

Martin wants to control from the top but Kilpatrick keeps moving.
Martin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kilpatrick swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Martin frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Kilpatrick takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.


It looks like Luke Kilpatrick has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Martin wants to control but Kilpatrick has made it back to half guard. Nice work.

Martin is keen to just control but Kilpatrick is a slippery customer.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Martin is on top in guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Kilpatrick is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Martin loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Kilpatrick digs a right hand into Martin 's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Martin 's gas tank.

Martin has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Kilpatrick regains guard immediately.

Dean Martin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Martin shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kilpatrick but Kilpatrick pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Martin throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Kilpatrick's waist but Kilpatrick gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Martin off to one side.

Dean Martin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Martin winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
