Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Colin Burton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diego Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burton comes to the cage accompanied by Trip Like I Do. Diaz has chosen It's Good as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Burton tries to clinch there but Diaz circles away.
Diaz throws a chopping leg kick but Burton manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Diaz loads up on a big right hand but Burton slips the punch.
Diaz bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Burton's head backwards.

Burton uses his free foot to push down on Diaz's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Diaz.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Colin Burton.
I think Diaz has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
