Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Zulu Chaka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pvt. Mullen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mullen. Chaka's entrance music is Bohemian Rapsody. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chaka will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Chaka dodges the punch combination from Mullen.
Chaka ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Mullen looks to score with a jab to the body but Chaka is just out of range.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Chaka throws a lazy right hand but Mullen sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Mullen throws a big shot that misses.
Chaka misses with a low kick.
The fighters circle momentarily. Chaka darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Mullen throws a series of punches but Chaka moves out of range.

Chaka looks for the body kick but Mullen saw that one coming.
Chaka tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mullen sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Chaka somewhat.

Nice sprawl there from Mullen as Chaka shoots in.

Chaka looks to throw the jab but Mullen is out of range.
Chaka takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Chaka finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Chaka steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Mullen.
Mullen misses with a straight right.
Mullen chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Chaka can pounce on him.
Chaka throws a sloppy head kick and Mullen moves out of range easily.
Chaka throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Chaka misses with a body shot.
Chaka walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Mullen connects with a right that clearly hurt Chaka. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Mullen proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Chaka collapses and taps out under the pressure!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pvt. Mullen!
