Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jeff Foster! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Gab Faber! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Chris Edwards and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Faber wants to clinch up but Foster keeps it at a distance. Faber closes the distance and clinches. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Faber. Foster fails to pull guard.
Faber lands a knee to the body.

Foster wants a takedown but no success here.
Faber connects with a knee to the head.
Foster is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jeff Foster. That's going to take a lot out of him. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Faber. Knees to the body from Faber.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Faber leaning his opponent against the cage. Foster is trying to pull guard but Faber turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Faber landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Foster is breathing heavily. Faber with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Foster tries to pull guard but Faber forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Foster is rocked! Faber jerks Foster's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Foster drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Faber goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Faber because Foster was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee). Gab Faber! After winning the bout, Gab Faber thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
