Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Taneli Maija (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Surangel Oiterong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oiterong has chosen American Idiot as his entrance music. Surangel Oiterong told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Taneli Maija!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Surangel Oiterong!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Trevor Gratis and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab, jab by Oiterong - just one landing.
Oiterong cracks Maija with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Maija misses with an uppercut
and Oiterong connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Oiterong swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
letting Maija counter with a right hand.
Maija is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Oiterong moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Surangel Oiterong!
