Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Radoslaw Numan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Gordon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Numan comes to the cage accompanied by ITS TIME FOR WAR. Gordon is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Thunderstruck. James Gordon told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Alexandre Firmino and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gordon shoots in for a double leg but Numan sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Numan tries to clinch there but Gordon circles away.
Numan displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gordon.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Numan is defended easily by Gordon.

Numan tries to clinch but Gordon is having none of it.

Gordon is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Numan manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Gordon manages to get himself to full guard.
Gordon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Numan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Numan drops back looking for a leg! Gordon is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Gordon manages to kick Numan off! Numan jumps back into Gordon's guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Numan accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Gordon can do anything to dispel that myth.
Gordon is adopting a defensive guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Numan wants to control from the top but Gordon keeps moving.
Gordon controls Numan momentarily but Numan frees himself.

Numan sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Gordon's guard.

Gordon remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
