Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gideon Abieezer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Trejo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Trejo's choice of entrance music: Dire Straits- Six Blade Knife. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Gideon Abieezer!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Danny Trejo!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Nard Betker and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abieezer tries for a takedown but Trejo sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Trejo clinches up with Abieezer and pushes him back against the cage.

Trejo escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A head kick misses from Trejo.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Trejo.
Trejo throws a sloppy head kick and Abieezer moves out of range easily.
Abieezer on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

Trejo closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Abieezer can't find room to land a body shot as Trejo controls the action.
Abieezer can't break the clinch.

Trejo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Trejo moves out of range of the strikes.

Abieezer shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Abieezer was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
This has been an exciting period of action!
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

That was a close round but I would say that Gideon Abieezer will probably get the nod.
That's time! Abieezer's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

enabling Abieezer to counter with a crisp jab.
Abieezer looks to score with a jab to the body but Trejo is just out of range.
Abieezer lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Abieezer shoots in and drives through. Trejo sprawls well.
Abieezer misses with a left hand
and Trejo counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Abieezer stuns Trejo with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Trejo lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

Abieezer is looking to break free of the clinch but Trejo has double underhooks.
Trejo manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Trejo keeps control of Abieezer as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Abieezer is trying to push Trejo away but Trejo has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
The referee calls for Abieezer to work.

Abieezer's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Trejo connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Abieezer scrambles back to his feet.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Abieezer is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Abieezer feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Trejos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Trejo moves forwards but Abieezer connects with a nice, crisp jab.

and Trejo counters with a good, hard body kick but Abieezer shrugs it off.
Danny Trejo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Abieezer gets tackled into the cage by Trejo. Trejo maintains the clinch.

Abieezer dips a shoulder and cracks Trejo with a mighty uppercut! Trejo falls back against the cage and Abieezer unloads with a barrage of strikes! Trejo is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Abieezer screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 4, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gideon Abieezer!
