Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jarek Glaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcinho Guerreiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Guerreiro has chosen DMX- Ain`t No Sunshine as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jarek Glaz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Marcinho Guerreiro! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Mauricio Rocha and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice takedown defense from Guerreiro. No joy for Glaz on that attempt. Glaz fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Guerreiro avoids it really well and circles away. A head kick from Guerreiro lands but Glaz takes it in his stride.
It looks like Jarek Glaz has been cut. Guerreiro keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jarek Glaz. That's going to take a lot out of him. Glaz shoots in looking for a takedown but Guerreiro manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Glaz's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Glaz has a takedown stuffed. Guerreiro gets caught flat footed, as Glaz shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Glaz stops Guerreiro from standing up. Guerreiro is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Glaz throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Guerreiro wants to stand up but Glaz is controlling him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Glaz loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Glaz is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Glaz stops Guerreiro from standing up. Glaz looking to pass the guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Glaz cracks Guerreiro with a solid left hand. Guerreiro keeping full guard, as Glaz tries to pass. Guerreiro keeping moving, preventing Glaz from controlling successfully. Glaz looking to sit in guard and control but Guerreiro gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Glaz is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Guerreiro trying to control but Glaz is working from the bottom. Glaz has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Glaz looking to hit a scissor sweep but Guerreiro is one step ahead there.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Guerreiro thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Glaz throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Guerreiro won't allow Glaz to sweep him here. Glaz isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Guerreiro stacks Glaz on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Guerreiro! Guerreiro wants to stand but Glaz is controlling his arm. You can see the frustration on Glaz's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Guerreiro tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Guerreiro throwing strikes but Glaz manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Glaz working the ground and pound from side control. Guerreiro wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Glaz tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Glaz working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Glaz working the body and head with strikes. Guerreiro is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Glaz asserts his dominance and retains side control. Glaz grinds an elbow into Guerreiro's temple. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Glaz tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Glaz has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Glaz working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jarek Glaz dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jarek Glaz's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business.

Guerreiro throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Glaz shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Guerreiro as he avoids it easily. Glaz dives in and grabs Guerreiro's left leg, looking for a takedown. Guerreiro pushes down on Glaz's head and hops out. Glaz has his takedown stuffed and Guerreiro counters with a straight right hand.
Glaz is rocked! That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jarek Glaz. That's going to take a lot out of him. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Guerreiro slaps away a takedown attempt from Glaz, before circling back to the center of the mat. Guerreiro lands a brutal head kick. Glaz looks out on his feet and Guerreiro throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick and Punches). Marcinho Guerreiro! An out of breath Marcinho Guerreiro thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
