Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vitus Shavnetski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and FIVEFINGER DEATHPUNCH (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shavnetski comes to the cage accompanied by DMX - get it on the floor. FIVEFINGER DEATHPUNCH told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vitus Shavnetski! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, FIVEFINGER DEATHPUNCH! The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Konstantin Menshow and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shavnetski decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. DEATHPUNCH looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Shavnetski controlling the pace. Shavnetski decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Shavnetski showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from DEATHPUNCH.
Shavnetski is looking to clinch. Shavnetski gets a takedown into half guard. Shavnetski content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shavnetski's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Shavnetski has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Vitus Shavnetski just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Shavnetski moves into range and clinches up with DEATHPUNCH.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Shavnetski breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Shavnetski looks to land a combination. DEATHPUNCH sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Shavnetski shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with DEATHPUNCH but DEATHPUNCH pushes him off and we're back to square one. Shavnetski throws a sloppy head kick and DEATHPUNCH moves out of range easily. DEATHPUNCH circles away from the clinch attempt.

DEATHPUNCH moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Shavnetski connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Shavnetski throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around DEATHPUNCH's waist but DEATHPUNCH gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Shavnetski off to one side. Danga de danga de dang - DEATHPUNCH scores with a four punch combination! DEATHPUNCH tries to clinch up. A lazy left from DEATHPUNCH finds it's target. Shavnetski wants to clinch up but DEATHPUNCH keeps it at a distance. DEATHPUNCH wants to clinch up but Shavnetski keeps it at a distance. Shavnetski fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with DEATHPUNCH, pushing him back against the cage. Shavnetski escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

That's three minutes gone in the round. DEATHPUNCH tries a body shot but Shavnetski blocks it.
Shavnetski has dropped down and is working for a takedown. DEATHPUNCH is trying to keep an underhook but Shavnetski manages to get the takedown into half guard. DEATHPUNCH is trying to stand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Shavnetski content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. DEATHPUNCH is in trouble now - Shavnetski has advanced to mount! Shavnetski controlling the pace for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. DEATHPUNCH wants to get back to his feet.
Shavnetski controlling the position easily from mount. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vitus Shavnetski dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
DEATHPUNCH throws a half hearted mid kick. Shavnetski wants to clinch. Shavnetski closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Shavnetski in side control, just content to control the action for now.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Vitus Shavnetski just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. Shavnetski tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Shavnetski throws out a powerful jab. Shavnetski throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! DEATHPUNCH crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Vitus Shavnetski!
