Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Roy Pitbull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Malcolm Marshall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Marshall's choice of entrance music: Written In The Stars - Tinie Tempah. Roy Pitbull is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Malcolm Marshall!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Andrew Berry and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pitbull throws an off balance right hand
and Marshall counters with a nice body kick.
Pitbull bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Marshall's head backwards.
Marshall wants to land a leg kick but Pitbull is out of range.
Pitbull punishes Marshall's body with a nice straight punch.
Pitbull punishes Marshall's body with a nice straight punch.
Pitbull throws a lazy uppercut
and Pitbull takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Marshall plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Marshall throws out a loose jab but Pitbull uses good head movement to avoid it.
Pitbull tries to clinch there but Marshall circles away.
Pitbull lands a nice shot that snaps Marshall's head back.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Pitbull shoots in but no luck this time.
Marshall takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Pitbull avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Marshall throws out a loose jab but Pitbull uses good head movement to avoid it.
Marshall fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Pitbull.

Marshall looks to throw the jab but Pitbull is out of range.
Pitbull throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Pitbull lands a glancing blow to the side of Marshall's head.
Pitbull lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Pitbull is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Pitbull sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Marshall takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Pitbull throws a right and a left that both miss.
Marshall connects with a looping right hand.

Pitbull checks the leg kick nicely there.

Pitbull scores with a shot to the side of Marshall's head.
Marshall blocks a punch to the side of the head.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Pitbull.
Pitbull lands a left hand that snaps the head of Marshall backwards.
Pitbull lands a nice uppercut.

Pitbull is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Marshall can't fight it off and eventually Pitbull manages to take the fight to the floor. Marshall looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

This has been an exciting period of action!
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Marshall keeping moving, preventing Pitbull from controlling successfully.
Marshall manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Pitbull manages to get himself to full guard.

Pitbull throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Marshall escapes and throws Pitbull's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Marshall has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Pitbull throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Pitbull misses with the combination.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Marshall, right into the meat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Malcolm Marshall will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Pitbull is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Marshall to keep the fight standing.

Pitbull jumps guard and drags Marshall to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Pitbull is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Marshall pulls his head out easily.

Malcolm Marshall showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Pitbull ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Pitbull no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

I would just about give that final round to Malcolm Marshall.
Well Marshall has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
