Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Prithu Regmi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Dawson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dawson motions for Regmi to come forward. Dawson throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Regmi throws a wild body kick that Dawson sees coming a mile off.

Regmi closes the distance and clinches.
Come on Dawson - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Dawson has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Regmi is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Regmi breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Regmi stuffs the takedown attempt from Dawson. Dawson gets slowly back to his feet.

Dawson dives in and scores a takedown into Regmi's guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Dawson loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Regmi is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dawson stands and throws Regmi's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Dawson tries to stand but Regmi is controlling his head.

Regmi is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Dawson has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Dawson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Dawson is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Regmi knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Regmi tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Dawson easily slips into full mount!

Dawson looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Regmi wants to control but Dawson is having none of it.

Regmi tries to lock up and control but Dawson gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Regmi is looking to improve his position but Dawson isn't that keen on the idea.

Dawson is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Regmi can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Dawson jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Regmi manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Regmi might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Dawson works to advance to full mount. Regmi defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Dawson lands a couple of good shots and Regmi has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dawson working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Regmi is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Dawson has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Regmi taps out!
