Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Kaplan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Curtis Savage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Savage is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Now Its Over. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Curtis Savage! The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Felipe Paraventi and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Savage tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kaplan swats him away and circles back towards the center. Nice defenses there by Savage. Savage looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Savage trying to control the position from guard on top but Kaplan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Savage must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Kaplan looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
This has been an exciting period of action! Kaplan is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Savage is aware though and is defending well. Kaplan might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Kaplan working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Savage doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Savage manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Savage really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kaplan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Kaplan looking for a guillotine here but Savage defends easily.
Kaplan could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Savage looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Savage advances position into side control! Kaplan manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Kaplan actively working from the bottom here. Kaplan looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kaplan is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Savage is tapping! Great win for Kaplan!
