Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, James Te Huna! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Bruno Hogan and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice takedown defense from Te Huna. No joy for Jones on that attempt. Te Huna gets a takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Te Huna is taking a breather. Jones says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Jones is staying active underneath Te Huna, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Jones keeping control of the position. Jones is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Te Huna is trying to work for a kimura but Jones is defending well.

That's one minute gone in the round. Jones has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Te Huna is working away from the top position though. Jones tries to get to full guard but Te Huna has control of the leg. Jones is looking to control Te Huna's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Jones avoid being mounted? Jones is controlling Te Huna's trapped leg to prevent Te Huna from advancing to side control.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Jon Jones just wasn't active enough. Jones looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Te Huna is fending him off so far but Jones persists. Nope, Te Huna circles away and we're back to standing. Te Huna moves into range and connects with a jab. Jones fails with the takedown and Te Huna counters with a right hand to the body. That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones takes a shot right to the bread basket. Te Huna lands a jab-cross combination. Nice shot by Te Huna. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Te Huna lands with a right hand. Jones is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Te Huna. Te Huna seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jones does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Jones manages to get to full guard.

OK we're going to have a standup here. James Te Huna hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Te Huna lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Jones at a distance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Te Huna leaves Jones with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Te Huna tests Jones's chin there with a solid looking shot. Te Huna scores with a sloppy right hand. Jones should have avoided that one. Te Huna lands a lovely overhand right. Jones fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Jones dives in and grabs Te Huna's left leg, looking for a takedown. Te Huna pushes down on Jones's head and hops out. Te Huna throws a combination. Jones tries to block but a couple of punches get through. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Te Huna works the jab nicely. Te Huna cracks Jones with a right hand to the side of the head. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Jones slips a jab and a cross from Te Huna.
Jones drops his hands momentarily and Te Huna takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Te Huna fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Jones to the ground. Te Huna is now in Jones's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Te Huna goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Te Huna lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Jones moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Te Huna trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jones working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Te Huna doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Te Huna manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Jones can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Te Huna controls the pace. Jones is pulling down on Te Huna's head. It's preventing any offense from Te Huna, at least for the moment. Te Huna looking to sit in guard and control but Jones gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Jones trying to control the position from guard on top but Te Huna is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Jones pushing down on Te Huna's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Te Huna is looking to get back to full guard here but Jones has managed to pass to side control instead. Jones misses with the ground and pound. Jones postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. James Te Huna has got the better of the ground game so far. Te Huna wants to control but Jones postures up. Jones throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Te Huna works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. Jones throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones wants to stand up but Te Huna is controlling the position.
Jones is trying to control. Te Huna wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Te Huna moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. A close second round but James Te Huna will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's time! Back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Jones pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Jones. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Jones pushes Te Huna up against the cage in a clinch. Te Huna wants a takedown.

Jones breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Jones fails in his attempt to clinch. Jones throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Te Huna's head. Jones closes the distance and clinches up with Te Huna, looking for a takedown. Jones pushes Te Huna against the cage but Te Huna circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Jones closes the distance and clinches up with Te Huna, looking for a takedown. That's four minutes gone in the round. Te Huna creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. You can see the frustration on Jones's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Jones is looking for a sweep. Te Huna in side control, just content to control the action for now. Te Huna wants to control but Jones is keeping him busy.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to James Te Huna. I've got Te Huna winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
