Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dimitri Raze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alejandro Zependa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dimitri Raze!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Alejandro Zependa!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Atkins and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Zependa closes the distance and clinches.
Raze is trying to force a seperation but Zependa has the dominant position.
Zependa is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Raze is fighting off a takedown attempt but Zependa is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Raze to the mat. Raze regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Zependa controls from within his opponent's guard.
Zependa working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Zependa is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Raze might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Zependa is in close to Raze's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Zependa trying to stand up but can't free himself from Raze's guard.
Zependa has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Zependa is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Alejandro Zependa wasn't active enough on the ground.

Zependa has Raze up against the cage in a clinch.
Raze is defending well against a takedown attempt.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Zependa tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Raze has had enough of the clinch but Zependa keeps him there for the moment.
Zependa dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
Zependa jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Raze walks away with a smile on his face. Zependa gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Zependa changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Raze looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Zependa stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Raze tries to clinch

and Zependa counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Raze wants to stand and escape but Zependa is having none of it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Raze utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Zependa looks winded!
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Zependa accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Raze can't keep his opponent in guard - Zependa advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Raze is trying to stand back up but Zependa is controlling him

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Raze is trying to maintain the position but Zependa is very close to passing his half guard.
Zependa is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Zependa takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Dimitri Raze has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Zependa gets a double leg takedown into Raze's guard.
Zependa stops Raze from standing up.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Raze working for submissions but it's allowed Zependa to get to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Alejandro Zependa dominated that round.
That's time! Raze's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Zependa keeps the fight on the outside.

Zependa closes the distance and clinches.

Zependa turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Zependa manages to end up in side control.
Raze is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Zependa controlling his opponent.
Zependa lands with some strikes.
Alejandro Zependa has got the better of the ground game so far.

Zependa has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Raze's face.
Zependa controlling from the full mount.
Zependa is breathing heavily.
Raze is squirming around, avoiding Zependa's attempts to control the action.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Zependa is looking to stand but Zependa has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.
Raze is trying to stand up.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Alejandro Zependa hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Raze is looking to slow Zependa down with leg kicks.

Raze cracks Zependa with a right hand to the side of the head.
Zependa throws a right hand that misses
and Raze counters with a straight right hand.


It looks like Alejandro Zependa has been cut.
Zependa keeps the fight on the outside.
Zependa tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Zependa swats away the attempt to clinch by Raze.
Raze wants to clinch.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Raze, right into the meat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Alejandro Zependa showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!


Raze fails with an attempt to clinch.
Raze throws a leg kick but Zependa moved away.

Zependa fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Raze to the ground. Zependa is now in Raze's guard.
Zependa would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Zependa is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Alejandro Zependa hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Raze tries to close the distance and clinch up but Zependa swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Zependa takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Raze stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Raze wants it to stay on the feet.

Zependa fails with the takedown.
Raze dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Raze fails in his attempt to clinch.
Raze is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Raze moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Raze wants to clinch.
Raze tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Zependa paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Raze wants to clinch.
Zependa avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Raze is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Raze fails in his attempt to clinch.

Zependa decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Raze wants to get back to full guard.
Zependa is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Zependa wants to stand up but Raze has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Raze pushes Zependa off looking to stand but Zependa dives back in and keeps control.
Raze trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Dimitri Raze just wasn't active enough.
Raze tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Zependa paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Donk. Raze catches Zependa right on the button with a cross.
Raze doesn't manage to clinch there - Zependa circles away.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Raze throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Zependa's waist but Zependa gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Raze off to one side.
Raze lunges at Zependa with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Zependa's hand.
Raze tries to clinch there but Zependa circles away.
Zependa keeps the fight on the outside.
Raze fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Zependa looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Raze tests Zependa's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Raze tries to clinch there but Zependa circles away.
Alejandro Zependa is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Raze is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

And that's the end of the fight!
Dimitri Raze showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Zependa has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
