Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Nathan Nolan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Walking Eagle! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nolan throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

A punch combination from Nolan misses. Eagle moves in looking to clinch but Nolan pushes him off. Eagle tries to clinch up enabling Nolan to counter with a crisp jab. Nolan jabbing away but nothing is landing. Nolan swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Nolan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Eagle tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Nolan manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Eagle lands a high kick!

Eagle pushes Nolan up against the cage in a clinch. Nolan is trying to force a seperation but Eagle has the dominant position. Eagle manages to break the clinch.
Nolan moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Nolan looks to land a combination but Eagle avoids it well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nolan clobbers Eagle with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Nolan throws a right and a left that Eagle avoids nicely. Nathan Nolan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Eagle shoots in but Nolan avoids the takedown attempt easily. Eagle thows a body shot but no joy. Nolan throws a right and a left that both miss. Nolan lands with an uppercut that bounces Eagle off the cage and back into range. Eagle tries to clinch up. Eagle takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Eagle tries to clinch but Nolan moves away and Nolan counters with a three punch combo that has Eagle backing up. Eagle nods at Nolan to acknowledge the strikes. Nathan Nolan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Eagle throws a head kick that misses. Eagle tries to clinch there but Nolan circles away.

Eagle shoots in for a double leg but Nolan sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Nathan Nolan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Walking Eagle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nice body punch from Nolan. An inside leg kick lands from Eagle. Eagle moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Eagle tries to clinch up but Nolan circles away and keeps his distance. Nolan throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Eagle sees it coming and avoids it easily. Eagle takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Nolan lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
A looping hook to the body misses from Nolan. Eagle does a little dance to reset his feet. Eagle is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Eagle is looking to clinch. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Nolan pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Eagle scores with a jab. Nolan acknowledges it with a nod of the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nolan wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Nolan takes a swing at Eagle's ribcage but misses. Nolan lands with an uppercut that bounces Eagle off the cage and back into range. Nolan slips under a jab from Eagle. Nolan scores with a shot to the body.
Eagle tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Nolan paws at him with a jab and circles away. Eagle lands with a slapping head kick.
It looks like Nathan Nolan has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice shot lands for Nolan. Nolan takes a body punch but keeps moving. Eagle walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Nolan throws a series of punches but Eagle moves out of range. Eagle throws a jab when Nolan was well out of range. A jab lands there for Eagle. A combination from Nolan does no damage. Nolan changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nolan misses with a straight right. Eagle fails in his attempt to clinch. Nolan lands the left hand. The crowd cheers as Nolan lands an impressive looking overhand right. Eagle doesn't seem phased though. Eagle lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Eagle doesn't manage to clinch there - Nolan circles away.
Eagle tries to clinch up. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Eagle is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nolan takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Nolan ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Eagle moves away. No joy there for Nolan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Nolan scores with a one two! Eagle had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Nolan swats away the attempt to clinch by Eagle. Eagle shoots in looking for a takedown. Nolan tries to sprawl out of it but Eagle keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Nolan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Nolan swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Nathan Nolan. I think Nolan has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
