The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Joseph Jones and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MOm misses with a head kick.
A lazy body kick from Powell
and MOm counters with a series of strikes. Powell will be more careful next time no doubt.
Powell avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
MOm shoots in looking for a takedown but Powell manages to keep the fight standing, pushing MOm 's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
No luck with that takedown attempt from MOm .
MOm fails with the takedown
and Powell counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Powell shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
