Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gerritt Cole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nursultan Tuliegbay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gerritt Cole! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nursultan Tuliegbay! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Steve Smith and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tuliegbay shoots in for a takedown but Cole shows good takedown defense. Cole's jab looks to have found its range, popping Tuliegbay under the eye. Tuliegbay tries to clinch but Cole moves out of range. Tuliegbay scores with a shot to the body.
Tuliegbay misses the shot to the body. Cole dives in and scores a takedown into Tuliegbay's guard. Cole trying to control the position from guard on top but Tuliegbay is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Tuliegbay has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Cole can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Tuliegbay controls Cole momentarily but Cole frees himself. Tuliegbay has his foot on Cole's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Cole works his way back into a safe position though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cole postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Tuliegbay trying to control the position.
Cole cracks Tuliegbay with a solid left hand. Tuliegbay is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Cole is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Tuliegbay's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Tuliegbay's back! Cole misses with an elbow to the head. Tuliegbay looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. Cole is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Tuliegbay. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cole scores with punches from the back.
Oooh a big shot gets through from Cole. Many more shots like that and the referee will have to think about stepping in!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Tuliegbay is in bad spot here.
Will Cole go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?

That's three minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Tuliegbay's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Cole trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
Tuliegbay is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Cole gets his way!
Tuliegbay fending off the submission attempt from Cole. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Cole is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Tuliegbay has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cole is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gerritt Cole dominated that round. That's time! Cole's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Cole throws a half hearted mid kick. Cole doesn't manage to clinch there - Tuliegbay circles away.
Tuliegbay shoots and misses and Cole counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Tuliegbay is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Tuliegbay drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tuliegbay trying to control the action but Cole is working from the bottom. Cole sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cole trying to control from the bottom.
Tuliegbay is trying to control. Cole wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Tuliegbay is looking for a kimura here.
Tuliegbay seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Cole does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tuliegbay trying to advance position but Cole counters by regaining guard. Tuliegbay is looking to pass into half guard but Cole pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Cole is in guard. Tuliegbay is breathing heavily. Cole sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Tuliegbay's guard. Tuliegbay is looking for a sweep. Cole is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Cole trying to control the action but Tuliegbay is working from the bottom. Nice strikes from Cole there. Tuliegbay manages to get to full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Cole slips nicely into half guard. Cole stops Tuliegbay from getting back to his feet.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Cole in particular looking to stall. Cole is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Cole wants to stand up but Tuliegbay is controlling the position.
Tuliegbay is trying to maintain the position but Cole is very close to passing his half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tuliegbay is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Cole's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Cole's back! Cole covering up well under a barage of strikes. Cole trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Tuliegbay looking to soften up his opponent with punches.
Tuliegbay has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Cole is defending well but eventually Tuliegbay manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Cole has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
