Jenkins escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Morales gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Morales really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jenkins. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Morales looking to pass the guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jenkins is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's one minute gone in the round. Morales wants to pass the guard but Jenkins is keeping the position. Morales must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Morales won't allow Jenkins to sweep him here. Morales wants to control from the top but Jenkins keeps moving. Morales tries to stand but Jenkins is controlling from the bottom. Jenkins bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Morales's guard. Jenkins drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Jenkins seems to have locked his on tight now - Morales screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Jenkins, as he picks up the win!
