Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rubijn Van Der Meer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mateusz Powerowsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Van Der Meer comes to the cage accompanied by GFK & Adrian Younge - Ennemies All Around Me. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mateusz Powerowsky! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Saam Ante and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Van Der Meer gets tackled into the cage by Powerowsky. Powerowsky maintains the clinch. Van Der Meer wants to get back to striking at distance but Powerowsky won't allow it.
Van Der Meer wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Powerowsky has him pressed against the cage. Van Der Meer is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Van Der Meer wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Powerowsky pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Van Der Meer tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Powerowsky counters with a nice double leg into guard. Powerowsky sitting in guard here, content to control. This has been an exciting period of action! Van Der Meer wants to stand up but Powerowsky is controlling him.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Mateusz Powerowsky hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Powerowsky decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Powerowsky seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Van Der Meer pushes Powerowsky off looking to stand but Powerowsky dives back in and keeps control.
Powerowsky performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Powerowsky not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Powerowsky wants to pass the guard but Van Der Meer is defending well. Powerowsky is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Mateusz Powerowsky has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Left hook, right uppercut from Van Der Meer. Van Der Meer clinches up with Powerowsky and pushes him back against the cage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Van Der Meer with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Powerowsky pulls Van Der Meer into guard.
Powerowsky escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Van Der Meer gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Powerowsky looking for subs off his back but Van Der Meer has passed one foot through into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Van Der Meer decides to stand up. Van Der Meer is breathing heavily. Powerowsky fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Van Der Meer tries to clinch up. Powerowsky is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Van Der Meer's half guard. Powerowsky seems to be working for a kimura but Van Der Meer defends the submission attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Van Der Meer wants to get back to his feet.
Powerowsky is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Van Der Meer tries to buck Powerowsky off but he can't manage it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mateusz Powerowsky dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Powerowsky gets a takedown into half guard. Powerowsky landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Powerowsky decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Powerowsky fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Van Der Meer avoids it really well and circles away. Van Der Meer tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Powerowsky paws at him with a jab and circles away. Powerowsky throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Van Der Meer was covering up waiting for the punch and Powerowsky finishes the takedown easily into guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Powerowsky trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Powerowsky has gone for a leg lock! Van Der Meer slips out almost immediately though and dives into Powerowsky's guard. Van Der Meer stands up from guard. Let's bang! Van Der Meer doesn't manage to clinch there - Powerowsky circles away.
No joy there for Van Der Meer, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Powerowsky closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Van Der Meer is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Powerowsky is controlling him well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Van Der Meer takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Van Der Meer wants to get back to his feet. Powerowsky happy to just control the position for now. Powerowsky advances to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. You get the feeling that Van Der Meer really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Powerowsky controlling from mount. Powerowsky with a couple of short strikes. Powerowsky is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Van Der Meer is surviving well by controlling Powerowsky's body position as best he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Powerowsky sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Van Der Meer taking shots to the head. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Powerowsky lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Van Der Meer is bucking up trying to escape but Powerowsky cracks him with another couple of good strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mateusz Powerowsky showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Powerowsky closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Van Der Meer to the mat! Van Der Meer manages to get full guard. Powerowsky is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Van Der Meer wants to get back to his feet but Powerowsky is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Powerowsky connects with a couple of short punches. Van Der Meer is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Powerowsky is controlling him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Powerowsky is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Van Der Meer wants to stand and escape but Powerowsky is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Powerowsky stays in close to Van Der Meer's body and controls the position. Powerowsky forces his way into half guard. Powerowsky is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Powerowsky controlling from the full mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Van Der Meer is trying to stand up. Powerowsky working Van Der Meer over with strikes here. Powerowsky pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Powerowsky tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Powerowsky won't let Van Der Meer get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Rubijn Van Der Meer has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Powerowsky lands a nice shot to the head. Mateusz Powerowsky is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Powerowsky controlling from mount.
