Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Orlando Florida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bo Nastie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nastie has chosen Roots Bloody Roots by Sepultura as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Bo Nastie told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Orlando Florida! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bo Nastie! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Bruno Lombardi and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Florida keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Nastie tries to clinch up but Florida circles away and keeps his distance. Excellent takedown into side control there by Nastie. Florida parries the strikes from Nastie easily there. Nastie is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Florida to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nastie just content to control the position. Nastie throws an elbow but Florida slips to the side and avoids it well. Nastie goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Florida rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Nastie's guard! Nice work there by Florida! Nastie seems keen to control Florida's posture.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nastie looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Nastie is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Nastie is striking off his back. Florida thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard. Nastie is looking to control Florida's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Nastie avoid being mounted?
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Nastie wants to get back to full guard. Nastie controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Florida wants to free his trapped foot but Nastie is holding on for dear life with his legs. Nastie is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nastie wants to control but Florida is keeping busy and won't allow it. The fighters are battling for position here. Nastie manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Nastie is trying to control the position but Florida postures up. Nastie looks gassed! Nastie is looking to sweep but instead, Florida has passed into half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Nastie trying to control from the bottom.
Nastie wants to improve his position but Florida is controlling well.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Nastie makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Nastie. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bo Nastie dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Florida keeps the fight on the outside. Nastie tries to close the distance and clinch but Florida swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Orlando Florida is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Florida displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Nastie shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Florida as he avoids it easily. Nastie tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. A punch combination from Florida misses. Nastie tries to close the distance and clinch up but Florida swats him away and circles back towards the center. Nastie closes the distance and clinches up with Florida, looking for a takedown. Nastie pushes Florida against the cage but Florida circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Bo Nastie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Florida misses with a series of wild punches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Florida shoots for a double leg takedown but Nastie sprawls well. He's pushed Florida's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. A combination from Florida does no damage. Nastie is breathing heavily. Florida throws a series of punches but Nastie moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Florida closes this distance looking for a takedown but Nastie circles away. Nastie wants to clinch up but Florida keeps it at a distance. Florida swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Florida. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Orlando Florida. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nastie throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Florida counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Nastie drives through with a takedown into guard. Nastie is looking to stand up but Florida won't let him. Nastie trying to control but Florida is working from the bottom. Nastie wants to stand and escape but instead Florida has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nastie has his foot on Florida's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Florida works his way back into a safe position though. Nastie is trying to control the position but Florida postures up. Nastie working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Florida doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position.
