The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Dmitry Maklakov and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch lands to the side of Alkhanov 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Alkhanov looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Leonardson bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Alkhanov! He dives into his guard looking to finish!
Alkhanov is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Leonardson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Alkhanov is still in real trouble! Can Leonardson finish him?
Leonardson passes Alkhanov's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Leonardson is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Alkhanov is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
