Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Frank Dennis and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hatake throws an overhand right that lands on Holloza's shoulder, as Holloza tries to avoid the shot.
Hatake shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Holloza pinned against the cage. Holloza gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Holloza defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Hatake.
Hatake shoots for a takedown but Holloza saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Uruhara Hatake. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Holloza throws a push kick but Hatake slaps the foot to one side.
Hatake dives in and grabs Holloza's left leg, looking for a takedown. Holloza pushes down on Hatake's head and hops out.
Hatake shoots in looking for a takedown. Holloza tries to sprawl out of it but Hatake keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Holloza manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Holloza closes the distance and clinches.
Holloza stalls.
Holloza tries a knee to the head but Hatake blocks it.
Hatake jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Holloza walks away with a smile on his face. Hatake gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Holloza drives through and clinches with Hatake against the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
With the fighters up against the cage, Holloza throws an elbow but misses.
Hatake jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Holloza walks away with a smile on his face. Hatake gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Holloza gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Hatake pulls guard effortlessly.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Holloza is looking to work some ground and pound but Hatake has wrist control.

Hatake is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Holloza frees his head nicely. Oh but Hatake has switched to an armbar! Holloza is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
