14 - 43 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tom Kazansky! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Left hook, right uppercut from Kazansky. Kazansky throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Miller tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Kazansky is in Miller's guard. Miller is looking for a triangle but Kazansky pushes his legs off easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Miller has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Kazansky is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Miller. Miller manages to get back to half guard. Kazansky got a little sloppy there for a moment and Miller has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kazansky has managed to get both his arms back between Miller's legs - danger averted. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Miller has his foot on Kazansky's thigh. Kazansky distracts Miller with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Miller is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kazansky defends well. Miller can't keep his opponent in guard - Kazansky advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Kazansky seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Kazansky is pressing down on Miller's thigh, looking to free his foot. Miller is holding on for now. Miller is looking for a sweep. Kazansky is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Miller looking for submissions off his back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kazansky is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Kazansky is keen to just control but Miller is a slippery customer. The fighters are battling for position here. Miller manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Kazansky wants to control from the top but Miller keeps moving. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kazansky looks winded! Miller throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Miller gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Miller has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kazansky can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Miller is looking for a triangle but Kazansky pushes his legs off easily.

Jason Miller dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Miller moves away from the strike by Kazansky. Kazansky clobbers Miller with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Miller throws a big shot that misses. Miller shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Kazansky is trying to defend but Miller finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Kazansky looks like he's trying to stand up.
Kazansky misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Kazansky tries to get to full guard but Miller has control of the leg. Miller maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Kazansky could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Miller has cracked it and Kazansky is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Miller!
