The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bedford tries to land a leg kick but Worner saw it coming and moves away.
Bedford takes one to the chin there.
Worner gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

so Bedford counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Worner being controlled here, momentarily.

Worner looking for a guillotine here but Bedford defends easily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bedford wants to control from the top but Worner keeps moving.

Bedford throws an elbow that misses. Worner uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bedford's guard. Nice move by Worner!
Worner wanted to stand there but Bedford had control of the position.
Bedford wants to get back to his feet but Worner passes into half guard.
Worner is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Bedford tries to hold on but Worner pushes him away.
Bedford is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

Worner has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Bedford's face.
Bedford keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Worner trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Bedford wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Bedford knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Worner on the ground.
Worner keeps control of the position as Bedford tries to break free.

Worner is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Bedford has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Worner has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Bedford taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Worner doesn't care though - he's delighted!
