Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Abe Ward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nero Boston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Boston's choice of entrance music: Loituma - . Abe Ward looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ward is trying to work for a kimura but Boston is defending well.
Boston is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Ward pulls his head out easily.
Ward looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Boston is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Ward pulls his head out easily.
Boston is looking for a sweep. Ward is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Ward is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Boston defends it well.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Ward has a takedown stuffed.
Ward is breathing heavily.
Ward shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Boston as he jumps to the side.
Ward will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Boston working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ward doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ward manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
