Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between James Corcoran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Hasselhof (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hasselhof is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Nas - Hate me now. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, James Corcoran! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, David Hasselhof! The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Edson Gomes and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Corcoran cracks Hasselhof with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Corcoran connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Corcoran throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hasselhof sees it coming and avoids it easily. Corcoran connects with a nice looking jab.
Corcoran misses with a looping right. Corcoran throws a right and a left that Hasselhof avoids nicely. A combination from Corcoran does no damage. Corcoran scores with a hook to the body. Hasselhof takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Hasselhof dodges the punch combination from Corcoran.
Hasselhof shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Corcoran as he avoids it easily. Corcoran misses with an uppercut. No joy there for Corcoran, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hasselhof fails with a takedown attempt. Hasselhof uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Corcoran.
Corcoran throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hasselhof stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hasselhof looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Corcoran throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hasselhof. Corcoran scores with a nice strike. Corcoran throws a jab when Hasselhof was well out of range. Corcoran lands with an overhand left.
Hasselhof is rocked! Corcoran throws a series of punches but Hasselhof avoids them all with ease. Corcoran throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. James Corcoran seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Corcoran thows a body shot but no joy. Hasselhof ducks under a wild hook from Corcoran. Corcoran scores with a nice head shot. Corcoran swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Corcoran misses with the combination.
Corcoran stuffs the takedown. James Corcoran has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Hasselhof. Corcoran throws a jab when Hasselhof was well out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A punch combination from Corcoran misses. Corcoran lands with a hook. Hasselhof tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Jab, jab by Corcoran - just one landing. Hasselhof is still on wobbly legs! Can Corcoran finish him? Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Corcoran swinging wilding here.
Hasselhof seems to have recovered his senses. Corcoran throws out a loose jab but Hasselhof uses good head movement to avoid it. Hasselhof takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
A lazy left from Corcoran finds it's target. Corcoran misses with a few strikes there.
No joy there for Corcoran, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Corcoran misses with a double jab.
Corcoran is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Corcoran scores with a hook. Corcoran rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hasselhof moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Corcoran is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Hasselhof shoots for a double leg takedown but Corcoran sprawls well. He's pushed Hasselhof's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Hasselhof will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Corcoran looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Hasselhof is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Corcoran. Corcoran is breathing heavily. A big left from Corcoran misses. Corcoran throws a shot to the body.
Corcoran works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Hasselhof shoots for a double leg takedown but Corcoran sprawls well. He's pushed Hasselhof's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Corcoran fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Hasselhof manages to avoid it. Corcoran throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Hasselhof walks into a stiff left hand from Corcoran. Corcoran misses with the combination.
James Corcoran is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Corcoran misses with a series of wild punches.
Corcoran throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Hasselhof sees it coming and avoids it easily. Hasselhof scores with a takedown into Corcoran's guard. Hasselhof drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hasselhof jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Hasselhof stops Corcoran from standing up. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hasselhof drops back looking for a leg! Corcoran is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Corcoran manages to kick Hasselhof off! Hasselhof jumps back into Corcoran's guard. Corcoran wants to stand and escape but Hasselhof is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James Corcoran dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Corcoran connects with a single shot there. Hasselhof shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Corcoran as he jumps to the side. Corcoran throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Corcoran throws a one two combo.
Corcoran throws a series of punches but Hasselhof moves out of range. Hasselhof avoids a punch combination nicely.
Corcoran looks to land a combination but Hasselhof avoids it well. Hasselhof uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Corcoran. Corcoran rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hasselhof moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Hasselhof fails to land the takedown. Corcoran throws a combination. Hasselhof tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Hasselhof is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Corcoran connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Hasselhof tumbling to the canvas! Corcoran pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Hasselhof was done - good stoppage!
