Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Igor Prikhodko and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vergara tries to close the distance and clinch but Franklin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Franklin pushes Vergara up against the cage in a clinch.
Vergara on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Franklin just leaning against Vergara, taking a breather.
Franklin manages to pull guard.
Vergara with a nice head shot there.
Vergara prevents Franklin from getting back to his feet.
Franklin throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Franklin throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Vergara has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Vergara missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Vergara is fighting to break Franklin's control of his arms but Franklin is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Vergara trying to control the position from guard on top but Franklin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Vergara might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Franklin haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Daniel Vergara.
Franklin changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Vergara looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Franklin tries to advance to mount but Vergara instead regains half guard.
Vergara is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Franklin is tapping! Great win for Vergara!
