The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moyo closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Freitas's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Freitas lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Moyo!

Freitas is working for a guillotine from mount but Moyo frees his head quite easily.

Freitas is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Moyo is surviving well by controlling Freitas's body position as best he can.

Moyo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Freitas. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Freitas is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Moyo to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Moyo shrugs it off.
Moyo defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Freitas.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Freitas throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Moyo wants to hold on but Freitas pushes him away.
Moyo avoids a strike by Freitas and manages to complete a very nice reversal in the process, to end up in Freitas's guard! Fantastic escape!
Moyo cracks Freitas with a solid left hand.

Moyo got a little sloppy there for a moment and Freitas has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Moyo has managed to get both his arms back between Freitas's legs - danger averted.

Freitas escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Moyo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Freitas has momentary wrist control but Moyo slips an elbow through the middle.

Freitas is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Moyo is nestled in close to Freitas, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Moyo gets to his feet and stands over Freitas, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Freitas felt that one! Moyo unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Freitas from any more punishment!
