Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between mike swick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenny Harmon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harmon has chosen 4 words to choke upon as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, John Kavanagh and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
swick misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
swick misses with a wild combination.
Jab, jab by swick - just one landing.
swick tries to clinch but Harmon is having none of it.
Harmon slips a jab and a cross from swick.
mike swick seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Harmon avoids a punch combination nicely.
swick swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

swick walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Harmon checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
swick will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Harmon moves into range and clinches up with swick.

Harmon shoots in looking for a takedown. swick tries to sprawl out of it but Harmon keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. swick manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Harmon is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Harmon tries to close the distance and clinch but swick swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
swick tries for a takedown but Harmon sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Harmon slips a jab and a cross from swick.
swick throws and low kick but Harmon moves out of range easily.
swick misses with a few strikes there.
Harmon tries to move into range but swick moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
swick scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
swick misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Harmon might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control swick kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

swick's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
swick is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Harmon wants to control the pace but swick is squirming around nicely.
Harmon is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

swick on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if swick tries to get out of the position.
Despite being in the dominant position, Kenny Harmon just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
