Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Charles Menezes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gauge Manny (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Menezes might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Charlinho, o menino que só queria estudar - Hermes & Renato. Gauge Manny has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Alexandre Firmino and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Menezes.
Manny shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Manny slips a jab and a cross from Menezes.
Menezes bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Menezes scores with a couple of short elbows.
It looks like Gauge Manny has been cut.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Menezes scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Manny is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Menezes can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
