Conti takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Silva is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Silva lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Conti circles away quickly and effectively.
Conti ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Silva moves away.
Conti fakes the leg kick and cracks Silva in the body.
Silva doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Conti motions for Silva to come forward. Conti throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

No joy there for Silva, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Conti shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

and Conti counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Silva thinking.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Conti is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Silva.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Silva tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Conti paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Conti is looking to wear down Silva with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Silva tries to close the distance and clinch up but Conti swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Silva is breathing heavily.
Conti throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Conti keeps the fight on the outside.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Silva gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Conti gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
