Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Piotrek Nowak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nowak has chosen Weekend - Za kazda chwile z Toba as his entrance music. Bruce Gracie has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bruce Gracie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Piotrek Nowak! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Nowak napping and manages to drive through into side control! Gracie in side control, throwing shots but Nowak defends. Nowak is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Gracie asserts his dominance and retains side control. Gracie misses with the ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gracie tries for a kimura but Nowak is defending well. Gracie fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Nowak avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Gracie. Gracie wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Nowak, who protects the arm well. Gracie thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Nowak has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Gracie but great work by Nowak. Nowak wants to stand but Gracie is controlling his arm. Gracie manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Gracie is looking for a kimura here.
Nowak pushes Gracie off looking to stand but Gracie dives back in and keeps control.
Gracie is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Gracie lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nowak is trying to stand back up but Gracie is controlling him
Gracie has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Gracie not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Gracie missing with the ground and pound from half guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Gracie lands a nice short elbow. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Nowak has one foot on Gracie's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Gracie fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Nowak to the ground. Gracie is now in Nowak's guard. Gracie pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Nowak is keeping the position for now. Nowak utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Nowak wants to stand and escape but Gracie is having none of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie tries to free his leg and advance position but Nowak is retaining full guard. Gracie makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Gracie postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Gracie is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Gracie throws a big right hand that misses. Gracie throwing strikes from guard but Nowak blocks nicely. Gracie in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Gracie thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Gracie stops Nowak from standing up. Nowak looks winded!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gracie working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Gracie drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Nowak dives on top into guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gracie is on top in guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Gracie tries to free his leg and advance position but Nowak is retaining full guard. Nowak is looking to stand up but Gracie isn't so interested in that idea. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bruce Gracie dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Nowak throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Danga de danga de dang - Nowak scores with a four punch combination! Gracie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nowak tries to avoid it but Gracie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nowak to the ground. Nowak escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Gracie closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Nowak did well to prevent Gracie getting side control. Gracie thows a huge punch but Nowak dodges it nicely.
Gracie looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Gracie is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Nowak defends it well. Gracie not landing any meaningful shots this time.

He's trying to wriggle out but Gracie has cracked it and Nowak is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Gracie!
