Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 1, fighting out of London, Doc Rivers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Chael Hart! The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Atkins and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hart shoots in for a takedown but Rivers shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Hart looking to score a takedown here. Rivers is defending well but Hart drives through and ends up in Rivers's guard. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Hart preventing the sweep. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rivers looking to control.
Rivers being controlled here, momentarily. Rivers is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Hart pushing down on Rivers's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Hart performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Rivers has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hart is working away from the top position though. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Hart should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Rivers throws a wild body kick that Hart sees coming a mile off. Doc Rivers is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Rivers throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Doc Rivers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rivers throws a nice looking combination but Hart bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Hart displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rivers throws out the jab. Hart shoots in for a double leg but Rivers sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Hart misses with a body shot.
Hart closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Rivers's guard. Hart looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Rivers trying to control the position.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Hart drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rivers is trying to improve his position. Hart is staying tight to Rivers's torso, preventing him from escaping. Rivers is looking to reverse the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hart is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Rivers will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Chael Hart. Rivers turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Hart is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Rivers ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hart takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Hart ducks right into an uppercut from Rivers. Rivers slaps away a takedown attempt from Hart, before circling back to the center of the mat. Doc Rivers has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chael Hart. Rivers ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Hart looks winded! Hart with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Rivers to score with a decent uppercut. Rivers listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Hart fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Rivers works the jab nicely. Rivers dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
That's five minutes gone in the round. Rivers with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Rivers lands with a good body shot. Rivers throws a nice inside leg kick. Rivers lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Hart falls backwards - clearly groggy! Rivers dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 5:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Doc Rivers! Doc Rivers decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
