Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown by Queen or perhaps it was just good defense by Avila which made him look bad. Nice takedown defense from Avila. No joy for Queen on that attempt. Queen gets in close and instigates a clinch. Avila is trying to push Queen away but Queen has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Queen turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Queen manages to end up in side control. Avila is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Avila trying to hold on to Queen's head to control him but Queen postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Queen throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Queen wants to work for an arm triangle but Avila is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Avila is trying to get back to full guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Avila manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Queen must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's one minute gone in the round. Avila looking for a sweep. Not yet Avila, not yet. Avila pulls Queen in close to his closed guard and prevents Queen from doing any damage or advancing position. Queen trying to control the position from guard on top but Avila is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Queen looks winded! Queen throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Avila works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Avila is adopting a defensive guard. Avila manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Queen manages to get himself to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Avila loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Eric Avila has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Avila lands a glancing blow to the side of Queen's head. Avila lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
It looks like Oliver Queen has been cut. Queen should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Queen fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Eric Avila has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Oliver Queen. Avila drops Queen with a beautiful combination! Queen stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Avila is looking for the KO!
Queen is rocked! Avila is throwing punches like he's double parked. Oh my word! Huge right hand from Avila shuts the power down on Queen. Lights out, game over! Avila is your winner.
